Members of the Maryville Lions Club delivered additional care packages to Blount Memorial Foundation to be distributed as needed. Due to COVID 19 they could not be delivered to individuals in person. Though the packages are meant to be delivered to the rehab facilities of the Blount Memorial System they may also be given to health care workers as a thank you for their tireless service. Whatever the means of distribution, this is one way the Maryville Lions Club can continue to serve the community maintaining safety and social distancing during the Corona virus pandemic.

The “thinking of you” care packages include hand sanitizer, packet of tissues, microfiber eyeglass cloth and hand lotion.

Back in April, the club provided care packages to over 750 Assisted Living/Nursing home residents as a way to reach out and let them know we were thinking about them. WE SERVE!
