Twice a year the Maryville Lions Club host a “Cruise-In” car event (OTTO – Oldies to the Oldies) where vintage cars parade to various Healthcare/Asst Living facilities in Blount County, park for approx 40 minutes and talk with the residents from the facilities that come out and reminisce about the days when they may have driven a particular car.  One lady asked if we have a car with a rumble seat because her “Georgie” first kissed her there!  It’s lots of fun for all and at the end of the day we meet at “Hops Diner” for some good food and award prizes for all participants.  In the 3 years we have been doing this we have grown from 8 participants to over 20.  Please come join in the fun and show off your car or truck!
